All The Right Places
Wines from Bedfordshire's Warden Abbey Vineyard have, in addition to winning many prizes and awards, been chosen for very special occasions.

During the 1990s Warden wines were ordered by Government Hospitality for their cellars under Lancaster House overlooking The Mall. Wines are drawn from these cellars for The Foreign Office and 10 Downing Street.
In 1996/1997 the Lord Mayor of London selected Warden Abbot 92 as one of the white wines to be served at the Mansion House. The theme of his year was putting the "Great" back into Great Britain and he received many compliments about the wine's quality.

In November 1996, Warden Abbot 1992 was served at the lunch for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh given by the Mayor of Bedford during the Royal Couple's visit to the town.
Exactly a year later Warden Abbot 1994 was chosen by the Prime Minister for the Lunch at The Banqueting House, Whitehall, in celebration of the Golden Wedding of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh on 20th November 1997.
